My Role: Loyal Patron & Mead Partner

The Washington Media Library Association is a dedicated group of educators who provide support for teacher-librarians and for other educators seeking library support. The website includes curriculum links, advocacy tips, and more. Don't forget to check out the WLMA conference in early October.

Thanks to a partnership with the Spokane County Library, students in county school districts receive a library card that enables access to online resources. There is no sign up required. The card has already been activated. The Spokane County Library District provides access to a number of subscription databases, online tutoring, and more.

Mead libraries provide access to subscription databases, ebooks, and audiobooks anytime, everyday. Additionally each library houses a differentiated print collection of popular and award nominated books. Library materials are selected to support the classroom curriculum as well as to help develop a love of reading.

The Washington State Library has been serving Washington for 160 years. Digital collections illustrating our State's history are available online. Visitors are welcome, but check the hours before coming as there have been changes due to budget cuts.
